Dehairing

Description

The cashmere dehairing line has been designed for a complete separation of the thin and finest fibres (14-15 micron) from the coarse hair of the outer coat, which cannot be used in the following carding and spinning processes.

Therefore, this technology is designed both for dehaired cashmere fibres sellers and cashmere yarns and fabrics/sweaters producers.

Process flow

The fiber is fed into the opening section (02) with a feeding belt (01). The dehairing section (03) consists of a series of special cylinders that transport the fibers to the final combing machine without shortening or damaging them. Coarse fiber is discarded onto the lower belt and collected pneumatically in filtering bags. The waste collection system (04) is divided into separate sections so that part of the waste can be reprocessed if it contains fine fiber suitable to be processed again.
